I agree with Rachel, many tennagers are very unthoughtful and unlike most teenagers Holden is. He definitely thinks about things others wouldn't have. I also can connect to Holden in ways that I didn't expect. Like the part where he's talking about the trip in New York, I have had moments like that too. It really makes it hard to believe that he is a fictional character. He seems so real.
